With the win, Stacy becomes the #1-ranked woman golfer in the world, overtaking Yani Tseng who held that spot for 109 weeks. Stacy's drama-filled performance of 9 birdies, including 4 straight down the stretch, resulted in a 3-shot, 23-under victory. It's the latest chapter in Stacy's incredible story of overcoming adversity to become the best in the world.

In an inspiring performance, Stacy Lewis held off a fierce charge to win the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore. Her 6th career win and first of 2013, Stacy now leads the LPGA Money List. Congratulations Stacy!

This achievement culminates a season of dominant play where Stacy became the #1 American woman golfer, had a Tour-leading 4 wins, and finished with an amazing 16 Top-10 finishes. Stacy Lewis' 2012 season establishes a new face of women's golf and will be an inspiration to a new generation of Americans who aspire to be the best.

Thrilling Come-from-Behind Win at Mizuno Classic


In a thrilling come-from-behind victory, KPMG's LPGA star Stacy Lewis rallied to overcome a 7 shot deficit to finish with an 8-under 64 to win the Mizuno Classic in Japan. Stacy closed with 3 straight birdies to put the pressure on South Korea's Lee Bo-mee. "To make those three putts down the stretch was unbelievable," Lewis said.

This win marks Stacy's 4th win this season and 15th top-10 finish. Seeking to become the first American since Beth Daniel in 1994 to win the Rolex Player of the Year, Stacy dramatically increases her lead over Inbee Park.

"Putts just started falling today [Sunday] and it was meant to be - this is the most fun I've had all year."

Stacy Wins & Becomes #1 American LPGA Golfer


Stacy won for the 2nd time in 2012 at the Shop Rite LPGA Classic and with it achieved her goal of becoming the top-ranked American woman golfer.
Stacy exhibited determination and a passion to be the best from start to finish. Her performance showed why she's #1 in America. Stacy dominated the field, winning by 4 shots with 19 birdies and an eagle.
